Rhonda & Vernon

Rhonda and Vernon met in Lincoln Heights and became friends in the early 80’s, they both attended the same schools. Vernon would come visit Rhonda at her grandmother’s house just about every day after school, he would stay so late until he would have to run the catch the last bus home. Once he made it home, they would talk on the phone half the night, even falling to sleep while on the phone. They lost touch with each other in the late 90’s and both went on to get married and have beautiful children.

In December of 2016 while attended a funeral for a childhood friend they reconnected. If you did not know that they had not seen each other in over 20 years, you would have never guessed, their connection was instant. Back to the old Rhonda and Vernon, talking and laughing about everything. In 2017 they decided to give dating a try again, since then that have been inseparable. They have been enjoying each other to the fullest. On December 25, 2020 Rhonda was in the kitchen cooking Christmas dinner when Vernon pulled her aside and popped the question and we all know what happened next. Now they are plan their dream wedding and plan on living happily ever after. Now on the destination.
